### Balusters

These narrow posts support a staircase handrail and connect directly with the stairs at the bottom. They can be customized in countless ways and bring lots of character to a space.

### Spindles

Very similar to balusters, spindles support a staircase handrail, but instead of connecting directly to the stairs, they connect to a parallel rail at the bottom, leaving a small gap.
